Whether you are looking to spend a half-day, full day or several days fishing, the waters of Roatan offer an unforgettable experience. You can enjoy flats/fly fishing for Bonefish, Permit and Snook; bottom fishing for Snapper and Grouper; and offshore fishing for Tuna (black and yellow-fin), Wahoo, Dorado and Marlin. We own and operate several sizes of boats to accommodate your preference and group size, and use only the best equipment available on the market such as Penn and Shimano.

Flats fishing

The distance between the shore and the reef in the north of Roatan, in some places up to half a mile, provides an abundance of flats where the most coveted species feed. At Pristine Bay you can fly fish right in front of the resort in a stretch of flats about 3 miles long and find Permit and Tarpon.  Bonefish inhabits mostly the south shore flats in Roatan and we can also organize your day of fly-fishing there to hopefully get you the coveted grand slam during your vacation!

The typical trips are half day or full day from Pristine Bay, with the advantage of taking your lunch break at the resort. The trips to the south shore are full days, require transportation and include lunch.  We fish on island-style pangas, which are better suited for the wave patterns we see here in Roatan and will provide you with a more comfortable and drier experience.  We will provide all the fishing gear, including fly and spinning rods, drinks and snacks.  Please note we strictly enforce CPR fishing on protected species (Catch – Photo – Release).

Deep-sea fishing

Trolling the deep blue waters of Roatan while enjoying the island views makes for a unique fishing experience.  Our experienced staff will take you in search of schools of Tuna, Mahi-Mahi or even the coveted Marlin. Roatan features 1,000 ft deep water just half a mile offshore! We frequently encounter good fighters such Barracudas, and Wahoo mostly during October through January.  We can take you on a half-day or full-day fishing trip, and if you and your family are looking for a more diverse activity we can combine fishing with snorkel stops for perfect photo and marine-sightseeing opportunities! All trips include assorted drinks and snacks, lunch can also be included or we can arrange for a stop at one of the many restaurants around the area during your trip.  For dinner… you can take your catch to the hotel’s Chef so he can prepare a wonderful meal with your catch of the day!  Please note we strictly enforce CPR fishing on protected species (Catch – Photo – Release).  Our signature fishing boat is a Grady White Marlin 300 equipped with a comfortable cabin, outriggers, bait tank and of course, Penn and Shimano equipment.
